Jack died October 19, 2008 at home. Jack was born in Kalmazoo on July 16, 1932 the son of Emmet and Margaret Fraleigh Redmond. He was a Manager at Wheeler-Blaney, owned Kalamazoo Asbestos and retired from Allied Mechanical Services in 2001. He enjoyed golf, tennis, basketball and enjoyed Subway "Samwhiches" at Lake Michigan. He loved his children and grandchildren and was their biggest sports fan. A daughter Karrie Krueger preceded him in death on June 21, 1997. Jack is survived by his wife Nancy with whom he celebrated his 47th anniversary on Oct. 14. Also surviving are five children and their spouses; Julie & Matt Waterbury of Coldwater, Molly Redmond of Rochester, MN, Amy Redmond of Kalamazoo, Christoper Redmond of Kalamazoo and Susie & Todd Schierbeek of Portage; six grandchildren; Mike & Steve Krueger, Nicolas, Nathan and Noah Waterbury and Anna Schierbeek; sister, Mary Catherine & Bob Johnson of Kalamazoo, several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 6 until 8 PM and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 until 8 PM at

where a rosary will be recited Wed. at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine Cathedral Thursday, October 23 at 10:30 AM Father Robert Sirico Celebrant. Burial will be in Mr. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of S. W. Michigan.
