Sacred Heart Chapel in St. Joseph, MI

A testimonial to the power of Catholic Perpetual Adoration Chapels

Sacred Heart Chapel, St. Joseph, MI.

To All my brothers and sisters in christ.  Tonight I was witness to the beauty of this adoration chapel.  Just around midnight a young couple came to the outer door and asked if they could come in and have someone pray with them.  Of course I had them come in and the young man began to tell me that since his monther died he had fallen away from the church, blamed God fo rall that has gone wrong and has not been living the christian life.  He stood before me broken, he had no where to go, so he came "home".  We prayed to our father in heaven to send his holy spirit for comfort and peace.  The young man began to weep and telling Jesus he was sorry.  They walked into the Adoration Chapel and spent time with our Lord in a way I hope most of us do, as a repentent sinner.  I was ashamed of myself and how I need to throw myself into the arms of my Lord and have him hold me just as this young man did.  Pride is a terrible thing.  If not for this Adoration Chapel there would be two souls looking for a place to go and not finding any.  Thank you Holy Spirit for inspiring Msgr Osborn to build it!  If heaven rejoices at the conversion of 1 sinner, it must be a party up there right now.  Please pray for them and me as we meet for coffee tomorrow.

God is Great!
Your Brother in Christ,
Jason DeVoir
